Voicemail

All UGA Athens campus telephone systems are eligible for Voicemail Service.  Contact your department's Telephone Representative to obtain the service.  The cost is $4.50 per mailbox, per month.

Features:

• More than one caller can leave a message at a time
• If you receive an incoming call while already on a call, the incoming call will automatically be routed to voicemail
• Callers can press 0 to reach an attendant rather than leaving a message
• Retrieve voicemails from offsite

Retrieving Voicemails from Offsite:

1. Dial the message center number at 706-542-4234
2. Enter your mailbox number (same 5 digit number as your extension; if your phone number is 706-542-6962, your extension and mailbox number would be 26962)
3. Enter your voicemail passcode
4. Enjoy voicemail
