Citrix Workspaces for vLab

Overview

This document outlines the procedure for installing Citrix Workspaces to map local drives on a user's computer to the vLab. This allows users to edit files (such as Excel reports from https://reports.uga.edu) in the vLab, but save them to local drives on their computer.

Step-by-step guide

1. Visit  https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/
   
   

2. Download and install Citrix Workspaces software for your specific operating system.
   

   
   
   

   1. When prompted during Install choose Add Account

3. In the Citrix Workspace screen enter vlab.uga.edu as the Store URL and click Continue
   
   

   Open

   

4. Login with your UGA MyID at the vLAB screen and follow your normal DUO authentication methods for two factor.

5. You will be logged into your home tab in Citrix Workspace

6. Click on Desktops at the top of the Workspace window

   1. Click on vLab and choose Open to launch vLab

7. You should now see your local drives while connected to vLab
