Below are FAQs that have come in as part of the Adobe Named License transition.
Questions
Do I have to sign in now?
Adobe’s licensing model requires that individuals sign in to use the entitled products. Franklin OIT has worked with EITS to enable MyID login for Franklin College faculty and staff so you do not need to maintain a separate Adobe account.
Can I install Adobe on my personal computer?
Yes! Your licensed products are granted a limited number of installs that can be activated at a time but these can be installed on state or personal equipment. If you exceed this number you will need to sign out and back in on computers.
Do I have to do anything?
You should not need to do anything additional to gain access to Adobe Acrobat Studio as it is part of the typical on-boarding process. If you find you do not have access please submit a help desk request and we can assist with your issue. Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is an annual opt-in process.
Can I use my gmail address instead?
For auditing purposes individuals must use their UGA account for access
Can I use my email alias instead?
In order to facilitate MyID login, individuals must use their MyID as their username.
I've logged in but it says I cannot manage applications?
This is a known issue, please submit a help desk ticket so that we can resolve this for you.
