UGAMail Authentication and Compatibility

As of November 1, 2018 Microsoft updated security features used by Office 365 that affects connecting to UGAMail with older web browsers and software-based clients. To resolve this issue, browsers and email clients must be updated to the latest versions.

A list of compatible web browsers and email clients can be found on EITS' knowledge base.

PC users can choose one of the following ways to access UGAMail:

1. You can switch to using UGAMail’s web interface at https://ugamail.uga.edu.
2. You can use Outlook 2016 or newer.

Mac users can choose one of the following ways to access UGAMail:

1. You can switch to using UGAMail’s web interface at https://ugamail.uga.edu.
2. You can use Outlook 2016 or newer.
3. We can update your macOS to the latest version which is required to continue using Mac Mail.
