Requesting Use and Support

If you work for one of these departments, you should already have a page on your department site. Visit your department's directory listing and make sure you have a page.

If you do not have a page, please  submit a helpdesk ticket and request a page on your department's site. We will contact the department to make sure a page is created. We will also make sure you can login to manage the content on the page.

Additional Documents and Information for Service

Faculty pages are only available to active Franklin College Faculty. When a faculty member is no longer an active employee of the University, their page will be disabled. The department has the discretion to keep pages available for Emeritus faculty. Additionally, the department that the faculty member is affiliated with must have a website that is provided by Franklin OIT.

Need Help?

All content is self-managed and we do have a number of self-help resources available on our website for any common technical questions you may have regarding your site.

Units must receive permission from students prior to posting images of students on their websites. Content must also adhere to local, state, and federal laws as they apply. Data backup and Recovery

Franklin OIT does not provide recovery of individual faculty pages.

Before you make significant changes to your page, we recommend you save down a copy of your site locally for reference purposes in the case that you delete or alter content accidentally. You will be able to view your page offline with the local copy to find material you may have deleted or altered before the change.

For directions on how to make a local copy of your site, please view our instructions.
