  1. Download the install file for Ampac at http://www.semichem.com/support/downloadaccess.php?f=ampac11&p=win64using the Windows access code provided by your instructor.
  2. Double click the downloaded file (Ampac-1011_0_1_9-win64.exe) to begin installation.
  3. Accept the license agreement and proceed through the installation windows by clicking Next and finally Install.
  4. Before starting the software, download the license key (or request from your instructor) and save it on your computer in a location where it will not get deleted. One suggested place to save it is in the same directory where the Ampac installation is (C:\Program Files (x86)\Semichem, Inc\Ampac-1011.10) but you can save it in any preferred location. Also, confirm that the license key is named ampac10ampac11.key (if it is not named accordingly Ampac will not license properly).
  5. Start the Ampac software (Agui). If you saved the license key in the Ampac install directory, it may detect the license file automatically and the software is ready to use. If a window pops up saying a license file was not found, click "Browse for key..." and point to the ampac10ampac11.key file you saved earlier.

  6. Accept the license agreement and you can now use the Ampac software.

  2. Double click the downloaded file (Ampac-1011_0_1_9.dmg) and a new installation drive for Ampac will be mounted on the desktop. You will then need to open that drive and double click the .pkg install file to begin installation.
  3. If you get a message about an expired certificate click Continue. Proceed through the installation windows by clicking Continue, Agree for the license agreement, and finally Install.
  4. Before starting the software, download the license key (or request from your instructor) and save it on your computer in a location where it will not get deleted. Also, confirm that the license key is named ampac10ampac11.key (if it is not named accordingly Ampac will not license properly).
  5. Start the Ampac software (agui) located in the folder Applications\Ampac-1011.10\agui. You may want to drag it to your dock or create a desktop alias so you can easily find it in the future. After opening the software, you may get a warning telling you an executable file cannot be found, but just click OK. Also, a window will pop up saying a license file was not found. Click "Browse for key..." and point to the ampac10ampac11.key file you saved earlier.
  6. Accept the license agreement and you can now use the Ampac software.
