- Download the install file for Ampac at http://www.semichem.com/support/download.php using the Windows access code provided by your instructor.
- Double click the downloaded file (Ampac-10_1_9-win64.exe) and to begin installation.
- Accept the license agreement and proceed through the installation windows by clicking Next and finally Install.
- Before starting the software, download the license key (or request from your instructor) and save it on your computer in a location where it will not get deleted. One suggested place to save it is in the same directory where the Ampac installation is (C:\Program Files (x86)\Semichem, Inc\Ampac-10.1) but you can save it in any referred preferred location. Also, confirm that the license key is named ampac10.key (if it is not named accordingly Ampac will not license properly).
- Start the Ampac software (Agui). If you saved the license key in the Ampac install directory, it may detect the license file automatically and the software is ready to use. If a window pops up saying a license file was not found, click "Browse for key..." and point to the ampac10.key file you saved earlier.
- Accept the license agreement and you can now use the Ampac software.
