Step-by-step guide
You should be at the PC in the classroom, looking at a message that another user has locked the PC.
- Make sure you can see a message that another user is logged on, like this:
- After pressing Ctrl+Atl+Delete you will see the screen below:
- Click on the "Other Credentials" button. This will show you who is logged on.
- Look for a large yellow icon labelled "Unlock" on the right. Click that icon.
- Enter your myid when asked, and wait while the machine logs off the other user gracefully.
- You should now be able to log on normally.
If you are still having difficulties, please open a ticket. Try to include information about who was logged in, what messages you received, and consider suggesting a time to meet and work on the issue before the next class.
