Features and Functions

The web-based exam room scheduler serves a single function - to enable reservation of seats in classrooms rooms for exams, events, meetings, etc when the classes groups are larger than the classroom room capacity. Exams Slots are spaced over several blocks of time to give all students audiences access to the classroomroom.

Fees

We charge an annual fee of $500 to all units using this exam room scheduler software. The billing year runs from July 1 - June 30. You will be billed a prorated amount if you begin using the system in any other semester besides Fall Semester.

OIT Responsibilities

Upon signing of this service level agreement, OIT will provide client access to the online exam web-based room scheduler within 7 business days. If your unit has a time-sensitive request, please contact ssharp@plexusweb.com or brewer@uga.edu as quickly as possible. If your request cannot be completed any sooner than the 7 day turnaround, you will be contacted promptly with an explanation and a projected completion date.

Client Responsibilities

Client is responsible for loading the following data into the system, and communicating with students on how to access the system.

  • Creation of all classes, events, meetings, etc using the classroom room being scheduled
  • Creation of all test slots, dates and times
  • Upload of all student rolls in classes

How It Works

This is how the system works from a student perspective:

  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis. If you do not see these slots when you go to register, it means that the time slot is full. Failure to reserve a testing spot may result in a grade of 0 for that test.
  • You may change your registration at any time. Simply select a new testing block and it will override your previous reservation.
  • You may also check your reserved time slot by going to the registration site. Registered times that are in the past will not show. Please note both your testing date and time. The registration website will be color coded by day as illustrated on the table below. Any student that shows up for the wrong testing block will be asked to leave the room.
