Overview
This document shows unit administrators or web committee members how to create course pages on their Drupal web sites.
Table of Contents
Course Pages
A course page is a custom content type used to add course information to your web site. These are not course pages specific to a particular semester or faculty member, rather it is general information about the course similar to what might be published in the bulletin. The reason you would want to create duplicate information for the bulletin content is that by having the courses in your site, you can link the courses to faculty members.
Step 1: Create New Course Page
First click on 'Content.'
Then 'Add content'
Next click on 'Courses'
You should get to this page:
The minimum this page needs to have are Course and Number, Course Name, Course Subject, Course Number and Level.
Please note that if you have multiple course subjects and numbers, you'll need to click 'Add another item' to add additional fields. See below.
Step 3: Save
After you have saved the page, you will see the visual page. If you need to make changes to the Course Schedule in the sidebar, view the instructions here.
