As we begin another academic year, it’s a great time to revisit an essential habit: backing up your data files. Whether it’s your research, teaching materials, or administrative documents, having a reliable backup ensures your hard work is protected and accessible, no matter what.

Regularly backing up important files to a reliable location such as the network shares (U: drive) or OneDrive
Knowing where your data lives so you know if it is backed up
