Summary

Due to a finite amount of shared storage in UGA's Zoom service, Franklin College's Zoom account follows the campus recommendation and sets a recording retention period of 7 days. After the retention period expires, recordings are deleted from the Zoom account to free up space. To provide a longer duration of storage and to integrate with the campus media platform, Zoom recordings are automatically uploaded to Kaltura within 24hours of the original recording. If Zoom closed captions are enabled these will also transition to Kaltura during the automated upload process. It is also possible to upload a manual or saved closed captioning file and synchronize with the video.
