Zoom - Saving Videos to Kaltura
Summary
The Kaltura platform is an easy way to save recorded videos and media with a larger audience including instructional labs and classes. This process outlines how Zoom cloud recordings are transferred to Kaltura.
Process
Default / Automatic
By default, Zoom recordings will be automatically uploaded to Kaltura if cloud recording is enabled for your Zoom account. You can determine if cloud recording is turned on by reviewing the settings for your account.
Manual
UGA faculty and staff can upload videos to their Kaltura space manually from any source.
If cloud recording is not enabled, Zoom can save the videos locally and then they can be uploaded to Kaltura.
Using the Zoom settings, locate the video you want to upload. (See Zoom documentation on how to find your recordings)
Login to http://kaltura.uga.edu using your UGA Myid.
Once logged into the system, follow the upload instructions to place the video files in the appropriate channel, add captions, setup playlists, and other Kaltura functionality.
