Github Pages Next Steps

Github Pages Next Steps

Now that you established a github account and have been properly enrolled in the Github Enterprise license, you can move on with setting up your repo and publishing your site.

Step 1: Login to your account

You can login with your email address or the username you chose.

Step 2: Follow the Quick start Process

https://docs.github.com/en/pages/quickstart

Step 3 (optional): Setting up custom domain

If you requested a domain name when you created the ticket to establish your enterprise account, you can update the ticket to let the team know you are ready for the domain provisioning. You can View your Helpdesk Tickets to locate the enterprise hub ticket and make a comment to notify the team.

If you did not request a domain in the enterprise account setup process, you can just submit a new general helpdesk ticket and request that it be routed to the Systems Management Team.

Once you have received notice that the domain has been requested and setup, there are a few more steps. Follow only Steps 1-4 on the Github Configuring Custom Domain Guide. You do not have to do the remaining steps because we have already done that when we setup the custom domain.
